1. Saved by the Bell - obviously MASH is the better show but SBTB is something everyone my age grew up on.
2. Rescue Me - not a big Denis Leary fan but Big Brother? yeah, no.
3. Arrested Development - battle of snob comedies, at least AD was consistently funny.
4. Dr. Who - I watch it occasionally and while it's pretty weak you couldn't pay me to sit through LHOTP.
5. Star Trek Deep Space Nine - It's only my third favorite Trek series but I think I was a bit too young to get into Taxi at the time.

Match 1: M*A*S*H, but I was never a huge fan. I watched re-runs at my dad's and enjoyed the show, but I was also in the Saved by the Bell target age group. Close, but I went with the 4077th.
Match 2: Abstain. I hate reality TV as a concept, and never saw Big Brother. I did enjoy the first season or so of Rescue Me, but then it seemed to go all South Park, trying to shock for the sake of shocking and it lost my interest.
Match 3: Abstain. Friends of mine swear by Arrested Development, but it never reached out and got my attention. I love Frasier as a character, and I can't say I ever saw an episode of Frasier that didn't entertain me, but somehow I just never reached the same level of affection for it that I have for Cheers.
Match 4: Abstain, because I never saw, or cared to see, either.
Match 5: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and there were only a few shows it could possibly have been up against to even make me think twice. Taxi isn't one of them.

Re: "Favorite" TV Show Tournament Round #2/Group #7 Poll
I think us dedicate fans of DS9 are used to being in the minority, though, and we're also used to it getting the shaft. I can't even count how many episodes were pre-empted for UofL games in the Louisville area. The worst offense came when "Past Tense, Part II" aired, on schedule, before we ever saw the first part because it had been pre-empted. What really made that bad was that our local affiliate actually showed the episodes twice (6 on Saturday and again at 5 on Sunday)--and both showings were axed! In fact, the series finale was severely delayed for us because of a Cubs game that went into extra innings...for about an hour! My friend and I just laughed at the way DS9 got screwed one last time.

MASH - seriously, how are there that many votes for SBTB? What's wrong with you people?
Rescue Me - I've only seen the first season, but paring it up against a reality show makes this vote a no brainer.
Arrested Development - Frasier was good, but it was never 'Cheers' good. I also wasn't a fan of how much they changed Frasier's character. It doesn't help that AD has no peers.
Little House - I've never seen Dr. Who, but Little House is a classic and was a staple in our house growing up. Michael Landon was truly something special.
Taxi - I don't think I've seen a full episode but I can still appreciate its place in TV history. That and you'll never see me voting for Star Trek.
I don't know your age but I'm going to have to disagree with your assessment.

I only voted for 2.
Big Brother (Only bc it wasn't specified as to which country. The US version is shit, but I really like the UK version)
Arrested Development (bc I'm a snob obviously)
