I still need to watch last week episode. Maybe a double feature?

Danko is so effing annoying. When is Sylar going to kill him?

Good episode, could've been great though.

Can someone summarized what happen after Nathan meet Sylar in his office. Weather killed my DVR feed.

Sylar was getting ready to kill Nathan, but then Danko shot Nathan in the back (w/tranquilizer). Sylar turned his back on Danko and Danko stabbed him in the back of the head. Sylar was down for a minute (presumably dead...yeah right) and then got back on his feet saying "That hurt"...and then I threw up in my mouth.

Not bad. Some solid character moments with Sylar, but the episode was largely pointless given the first 30 seconds with Sylar as Nathan. It would have made more sense if they didn't give us that info ahead of time.

It's like watching molasses rolling downhill, this show. Just glad this season is almost over, as I'm not sure if I'll be watching it next season (or relegate it to low-low priority viewing).

But we knew that last week.

I think the show has gotten vastly better since Fuller has returned. There aren't enough changes though.

I am still enjoying this show, I do wonder why Hiro is having issues, can he just KEEP his powers working correctly for a few episodes? I hope something big happened next week, they seem to be going a bit slow for the last two or three episodes.

Oh, and it is time for Sylar to die, I wonder why that trick is no longer working on him. Danko should be in trouble now.

Did I miss something? How did Hiro get his powers back without using the baby?

Re: Heroes -- "I am Sylar" -- Vol. 4: Fugitives -- 4/20/09

I watched this after last week episode, so I don't think it was that bad. Besides, Sylar's episodes are always good. Or I am a fan.
One thing I liked is that they showed that Sylar was having issues shape shifting, so that means that they won't abuse that power, or that he will stop using it. I loved all the "interactions" with his mom, really good acting there, specially from both of them.

Still, 80% probabilities that this is my last season watching Heroes, it has been renewed, right?
I hope it's not like with My Name is Earl, that I stopped watching after a disastrous season and everyone keeps saying that's good again.

That's right, I had forgotten all about that. So this episode was totally pointless and the story advanced zero.

Yeah. I think I'm pretty much done with this show after this season ends. It's just so all over the place. They've introduced so many story lines that turned out to be dead ends, that I really can't get involved in the stories any more. I've lost any connection that I used to have with these characters.

An example of the bad writing on this show: in order to help Mikah escape, Sylar changes his appearance and fakes his death. Mikah clearly witnesses all of this. Later, Mikah sees Sylar doing the whole "Norman Bates" thing with Mother -- and only then does he say "You're a SHAPESHIFTER?!!?"

Oh... and what a waste of Clint Howard. His character looked kinda interesting.

Re: Heroes -- "I am Sylar" -- Vol. 4: Fugitives -- 4/20/09

I thought that was horrible and completely pointless. Matt is in love with Daphne one week and now has completely forgoten about her. Mikah sees Sylar transform and then is later surprised to see he's a shape shifter. Hiro and Ando continue to wander in and out of story lines without any direction. Nathan thinks he can confront Sylar alone?

I so want to like this show. It should be right in my wheel house but it's such a chore to watch sometimes.

Count me in as one of those looking forward to the season finale - the operative word being "finale". I keep watching, hoping the magic of the first season will resurface, but the only thing keeping me going is the "next week might be better" syndrome, and the perverse desire to see how they wiggle around all the ridiculous plot points they have contrived this year.

I can't see myself bothering next year.

Re: Heroes -- "I am Sylar" -- Vol. 4: Fugitives -- 4/20/09

I have to agree with Hiro and Ando wandering in and out without any direction. Now they have this new bit with Hiro "losing" his power or something. Maybe it means that what baby Matt touches is only powered on for a short amount of time.

I thought that the Nathan / Sylar stuff with Peter leaving just after Nathan left would implicate one thing (which didn't happen yet but I'm expecting this to happen next week): Peter will show up to save Nathan, he'll touch Sylar and get his power which means he'll be able to learn powers and/or he'll get all of Sylar's abilities. I expect Nathan and/or Sylar to die (for good I hope) in the last episode. ALso Danko's death, hopefully at the hands of Sylar.

I'm happy they seem to want to give Matt purpose but seriously, he must still be getting over Daphne's death. And ditto with Micah's comment about shape shifting.

I had issues with all of the above while I was watching. The Matt/Daphne/Ex thing stuck out like a sore thumb. After more consideration though, she left Matt. Their splitting was not his idea so I can sorta see how he can fall right back into things. It should have been more gradual though. Then again, she did cheat on him. Speaking of, maybe the kid is not Parkman's.

The Micah thing was very baffling. I didn't get that at all. UNLESS, Micah was under the impression that Sylar has the 'distorting reality' ability Missy Peregrym had in the first season.

Hiro & Ando - I still like Ando. Despite having a power he still feels like the last remaining 'normal' character(outside of Noah). They haven't let his power define him like everyone else. Hiro? Still worthless.
