South Park -- "Pinewood Derby" -- 04/15/09
BUILDING A PINEWOOD DERBY CAR IS THE OPPORTUNITY FOR SOME GOOD OLD FASHIONED FATHER-SON BONDING TIME in an all-new episode of "South Park" titled, "Pinewood Derby,” premiering on Wednesday, April 15 at 10:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL.

RANDY IS DETERMINED THAT STAN WILL WIN THIS YEAR’S PINEWOOD DERBY. He comes up with a PLAN that will assure Stan a first place trophy.

Did Randy look away or rub his neck when he told Stan that he loved him? I looked away for a second and didn't catch if it was a gag or not.

EDIT: It seems like their answer to a Star Trek episode, I'm also noticing sort of an Iron Man spoof with the plot.

I thought it was a rather weak episode. They've encountered various aliens several times, all the way back to the pilot episode.

Maybe I was just in a bad mood last night, but this episode did nothing for me. Storytelling wise it was fine, but I didn't laugh once.

You didn't miss much. The Aliens got in their ship and launched off. As they flew away from earth some lasers shot out and formed a cube/cage around the entire planet. Cut back to the crowd in South Park. Randy said "Well, that sucks!" Cut to credits.

at the suicide and subsequent "He's ok, he's ok, he's ok" from the son. That was pretty fucked up.
