One Tree Hill - Season 6 and Smallville - Season 8?
Anyone heard of when these shows will release to most recent season?? I haven't heard anything and we prob should of heard something by now? Also, This question may be Off The Topic of this board? Anyone know if One Tree Hill will get on Blu-Ray? I wondered why season 5 didn't have blu-ray

One Tree Hill's target demographic (teenage girls and women) don't really coincide with what is believed by studios to be the average Blu-ray buyer. That's why most tv show releases on Blu-ray tend to be more action or sci-fi oriented. There are of course exceptions, like some of the FX and Showtime stuff, but it probably explains why a show like Supernatural got a Blu-ray release and OTH didn't, being as both are Warner-produced shows on the same network.
Considering One Tree Hill is currently still in the 6th season and Smallville its 8th, neither has been announced on DVD yet. Look at the past release dates, though. They always come out just a bit before the new seasons premiere, don't they? I don't see why that would suddenly change.

Expect those seasons to be announced about a month or so after the seasons have ended for a release month of late August, early September.
Smallville has had 5 seasons released in September, 1 in May and the other in November. OTH has had 2 seasons released in September, 1 in August, 1 in January and 1 in December so your best bet is August or September for both of those season.

Likely a week or two before the new season starts. And no Blu-ray release on either of these. As it stands only 90210 stands a shot for a Blu-ray release as well as Smallville.
