That's doesn't seem like a great price to me. I've picked up the seasons individually a couple years back for about $12 each. Still, I guess it's better than the current going rate if you don't want to wait for a better sale. And it's a great show.

I want to buy...Kung Fu - The Complete Series Collection. Does anyone have a clue where I can get it for a good price? Amazon seems to have up'd the price since David Carradine departed.

I don't understand how this often happens with DVD's. Usually when you buy something individually and add up the total it will cost more than if you buy the complete set. With DVD's it seems to be the opposite.

With just a quick search I found that you can get Kung-Fu season sets for $11, $12 & $18 + shipping. The cheapest complete set was $63 + shipping. That's about a $20 difference for a cardboard sleeve for the series to go into.

Same thing with Wonder Woman as another example. I'm sure there are many more.

Believe me, that was just weird. I stumbled across season 1 and 3 for $9.99 each at Rite-Aid while buying an ice cream cone and decide to hold off until I can see what they're gong for online. I check that night a few places and the season sets are in the $10-$15 range which isn't really much of a savings from Rite-Aid. Not enough to pull the trigger if it was a deal that was too good to pass up.

I debate a little bit whether I should just buy the complete series for $43 just so I don't have to order three different season sets, hope they each don't get crushed or mailed out at all, etc. and then the next day while looking for the animation that some have found I stumble across the Wonder Woman set at Big Lots. Very unusual and surreal to find something that I'd been looking for and the way that I found it.

But the bump also pointed out that you can buy all the seasons for less than the price in the thread title, so how is it worthless?
