Thanks! Got excited there and thought all HBO shows were fifty percent off, but it's only season ones. Haha, and if you get Day the Earth Stood Still you get a mini Gort? Too funny.

The Gort is really cool. I actually considered buying it, getting the Gort, then returning the movie and keeping the figure. Then I realized that I don't need anymore crap in my house, and it'd probably be more trouble than it's worth.
Also, is Slumdog cheaper next week than it is this week?

If Best Buy lets you pricematch Targets blu-ray BOGO, then Wall-E and Narnia:Prince Caspian could be had for $25 before tax. Not bad if you wanted those two itles.

that's weird.. ."No Country" is actually $22.99 on their website and you can pre-order for store pick-up at that too. anyone think the website will change come Sunday?

Best Buy's weekly ads have been weak (IMO) since Circuit City rode off into the sunset. They need some competition.
Thanks for posting though! Nothing for me.

That mini Gort is freaking amazing....it may just persuade me to go ahead and pick up the 3 disc

Guess I'll get the 3-Disc DTESS, heard it's not great but I was going to get the original anyway. Also it's $25 on the Web site - I've noticed prices often vary between store and the net for Best Buy.

Not impressed with the new release pricing of blu-rays, but am no longer surprised. I hope they'll have a few other blu-ray deals advertised on their website for in-store pickup like they did the first 2-3 months this year. Regardless, thanks for the early prices Musick!

i think it's highly likely. i remember "heroes: season 2" was available for pre-order @ $24.99 for the month prior to its release and then on release week it changed to $29.99.

If you want the original film, I believe that it also comes in the 2-disc edition. The fine print under the 2-disc says that it includes the original film.
