Lindsay Lohan looking for film work
Lindsay Lohan looking for film work
March 21, 2009
Lindsay Lohan's movie career has been stalled since 2007's "I Know Who Killed Me," but it's not for lack of effort on her part.
She says she's looking.
"It's scary when you realize, 'Oh my God, I'm not working. And I have a house to pay for now,' " she says in April's issue of Nylon.
She says she wanted to do director Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland," but "that didn't work out ... it is what it is."
She said that producers told her she wasn't right for the part.
"That's how I like to hear it ... I can take it, I'm a big girl. Obviously, you don't want me. I don't want to do something that somebody doesn't want me to be involved in anyway."
Lohan says she's "talking to a lot of people right now," including Sean Penn.
"We're trying to get Seth Rogen for this project, but Seth won't call us back."
Also in the interview, she took a little shot at Britney Spears.
"She's marketed as an entertainer, which is what she is," Lohan says. "Not necessarily as, like, an artist. And I respect that about her, 'cause she doesn't want to pretend."

I can't imagine why the hottest comic in film right now doesn't want to call back a bi-sexual former/current addict with a diarrhea vagina.

I really do hope this Lohan chick either disappears off the face of the planet, dies, or any other date where I never have to hear about her again. There is no TALENT or any other interesting facet nearing interesting about her.
She acts terrible in terrible films. Shes had many chances. Please just go away.

Why do you think I keep mentioning it? Ever since I read that it's all I can think about the instant I hear/see her. Even worse, I can totally believe its true.

Dude, not to say that you're the only guy ripping on chris_sc77 with the '2hr-R' comments. But they're getting old. Please retire these at your earliest convenience. Same goes for the 'not Florida' comments over in Otter. It was amusing for a few months. Move on.
I don't know about Lohan. I mean, what kind of publicist allows their client to release statements like this? I remember when Tara Reid did pretty-much the same thing awhile back. If she wants to work, she can get work in small roles and stuff. Or she could star in some DTV-type stuff. Those producers are always looking for any names to get a movie off the ground. I think that asking to star in the next Seth Rogen or Tim Burton movie is a bit much, right right? There's always work.

It's a shame because she is pretty talented, but I think studios shy away from her because she is a 'diva.' I call her 'rich white trash', because she comes from a pretty messed up family, so you know where she is getting her values from. I'm just so sick of her, Britney, and Paris!

The Parent Trap
I guess when I said pretty talented, people may take that I am saying she is some great actress. I think she was good in Mean Girls, and Freaky Friday, and that movie with Jane Fonda. I think when you have actresses like Megan Fox who are getting their roles because they are hot as hell, in that context Lohan is a good actress these days.
