iTunes now selling HD movies
Limited selection at this point.

Quantum of Solace, Twilight, and The Spirit up for pre-order.

Transporter 3, Punisher: War Zone, Saw V, W., Bangkok Dangerous, Religulous, and several others available now.

You buy the HD version for $19.99 and you get a SD copy for your iPod/iPhone (but apparently not AppleTV).

I'm not willing to spend $20 to check, but shouldn't the HD version already work on the AppleTV, no need for an additional file?

These are in 1080p? I wonder how long it takes to dl? Still, I prefer my media physical, so I'll pass.

1080p films are usually 5-8GB depending on the films length.

I will rent HD but not buy
