Hey Guys
I consider myself a moderate gamer, but I love sports games. I would like know from all of you what you consider to be the best sports game on the market right now (Past seasons is fine to mention if the current one sucks like MLB 2K series)

I'm interested in all different kinds of sports like NBA (I own 2K9 and Live), NHL, NFL, Racing etc.

I'm talking mainly about awesome graphics, good gameplay and lots and lots of replay value.

I couldn't stand Madden this year at all. Wish I traded it in back when I could've gotten $40 for it.

I love NBA games and have both NBA 2K9 and Live.

I know Sony produces a version called NBA 09: The Inside. What's been the word on that? Is it a piece of shit compared to 2K and EA's version?

Wii Sports. It's not a complete accident that it's a killer app.

Tiger Woods with Wiimotion Plus coming this year, and it looks amazing.

I'm actually really intrigued with the all-play line in general, as they seem to have brought sports games back to the basics to some degree.

Unfortunately no. 2K Sports has the exclusive rights for the 360 and MLB 2K9 is the only alternative, which has gotten horrendous reviews. I own it, but haven't played it enough to give a fair assessment.

Ive heard PES(Pro Evolution Soccer) 2009 for Wii is great and actually superior to the 360 and PS3 versions cuz of the innovative control system whereas on the other systems Fifa 09 is the better game.

NHL 09 and the much overlooked MotoGP 08 are 2 more of my sporting faves for my 360.

When comparing PES vs Fifa, which is actually better?

I heard Fifa actually has more teams than PES.

Ive only played the PES 2009 demo for 360 but i have Fifa 09 and its great.It has way more teams,leagues and all that official Fifa stuff although PES has the UEFA Champions League.Fifa has the cool be a pro mode and the 10 vs 10 online mode and far better graphics.Even die hard PES fans have mostly switched over to Fifa in the last couple years cuz Konami just cant compete with EA.EA certainly has "borrowed" a lot of the gameplay from Konami's game which has made for a more realistic game that they had always lacked compared to PES.

If i had a Wii though i certainly would pick up PES 2009 for it.

I will be playing Fifa 09 till Fifa 10(or is it 2010?) comes out.

I hate the Wii as much as anybody, but I'm thinking it might be the Genesis of this generation (meaning the console that's ONLY good for sports games and first party exclusives)
