Looking forward to tonight's episode since this is the episode we apparently have all been waiting for...(as per Whedon himself).

I've watched every episode that has aired so far and it's been a little clunky in quality, but still very watchable.

Barry has done a really good job with the amount of information he's dug up pertaining to the show. Kudos to you man!!

HOLY CRAP! What show did I just watch? This is not the same show they've been showing the last few weeks. This was just amazing!

"There are three flowers in a vase. the third flower is green" = awesomeness
Enjoyed this episode much more. Added more layers to the story which was nice. The first episodes were just too straight forward and vanilla compared to this one.

The only part i hated was the on street interviews. Every time one of those scenes pops up, I wanted to break my tv!
The rest of the episode was good stuff and next week looks to be excellent

It's funny because Whedon said that she was supposed to be a doll, but he had to remove the character because he didn't have time to do the stories he wanted to with her, so he created this new one so the actress who plays her (Miracle Laurie) would still have a role on the show.

Wow, right off the bat you could tell it had more a "Whedon" feel to it with his little one-liners that have been severely lacking thus far.
Plus, an awesome Angel-esque fight scene!!!

"See?! Porn!!!" Finally, some Whedonesque one-liners. Going to have to go back and watch the episode again, but was Echo programmed to talk to Ballard to mislead him, or was that actually her talking?

"throw the Kindle at you?" (that was pretty weak)
Did folks really not see the neighbor twist coming? It was just a matter of when in my view. Especially once the evil handler was sent there to clean up... At first I wondered why they waited so long into the fight to activate her, then I realized they were probably trying to get her a little beat up so they could sell it to the FBI guy.
I like the concept of a global organization of dollhouses - that gives another layer to the show and potentially a lot more depth. And I think the development of more characters and having Dushku in a largely background role helped - I still don't think she has the ability to carry the show and I hope it continues with a more balanced character approach (and doesn't digress into story of the week with a little story arc sprinkled in)

Fantastic episode. They are getting better each week as far as I'm concerned.
Yeah they were kind of stupid, except for the one with the Guy and his Girlfriend. Thought that one was hilarious. He was like, "For some guys, it'd be nice to just see what it was like. Nothing queeny. For some guys." And his Girlfriend was just smiling and obviously very disturbed at what she had just heard him say.

Re: Dollhouse -- "Man on the Street" -- 3/20/09
Some of the man on the street interviews were bad just because they had bad actors. The guy and his girlfriend one was kind of funny, but way too on the nose.
As for the neighbor, I've thought she was a doll from day one. I will admit I was thrown of track after the dollhouse security guy referred to her as a civilian when they were watching the hidden camera footage. I know that was the point, but I still think it was a little bit of a cheat.

I am liking this show more and more each week. Taking his badge and suspending him is really gonna stop him from investigating the Dollhouse. Like that is going to work. He may not have the resources the FBI can offer, but he also doesnt have the restrictions.

Good episode that continues to make me want to watch. Still nowhere up to the level of Buffy, Angel, or Firefly.
