Looked, but couldn't find their " normal per item" shipping charge, or any info as to whether or not they charge sales tax - anyone know?

Check the side bar on the right-hand side of the page. Appears they may only charge sales tax for PA(?), and if you scroll down, all the shipping info is there.
BTW, forgot to include in my first post - this is quite a long list of titles, which is why I only posted the link, not the list. Titles start at $8.99 and go up to $84.99 for some special/box sets.
