Oh, I totally understand the sentiment. There are very few sets I would pay over a hundred dollars for - this one, and the complete series of The Wire are the only two that come to mind at the moment. However, being able to get this for $75 is just phenomenal in my book.

However, I'd definitely consider picking it up if it could be had for around half that price, despite already owning the BD version.

I wouldn't hold your breath on that one. Hot Topic is simply clearancing out all their Nightmare Before Christmas stuff. They've either discontinued, lost or simply not renewed their contract to carry the stuff. (It used to be featured among their "licensed" items, but isn't even on the list anymore!)
I didn't even realize they'd ever had the dvd set, but had gotten the coupon code and thought I'd pick up another shirt, collectible figure or something. I sorted the Nightmare stuff from low to high price and damn near dropped my laptop when I got to the last page and saw the set.
As for the set not having the BD version, I believe (though I'm not entirely certain) the set came out before the BD version was released.

got mine last week. love it! had some issues removing the tape that was on the packaging (it was removing the black paper along with the tape). decided to leave the tape on. anyone have similar difficulties? thanks bwsmom for the deal!
