Re: Artie Lange on Letterman

I'll have to check this out tomorrow; his last interview on Conan was really funny.

The Harry Carey story had me rolling.

Aychh, that was cringeworthy. Artie should understand he's playing to an audience that doesn't know anything about him, and tailor his material accordingly. Letterman wasn't much help. The plug for Howard/Sirius at the end of the interview sounded desparate and pathetic.

The words desperate and pathetic pretty much sum up Howard Stern's show these days.

That's a shame. I was a huge fan of Stern on regular radio. I rarely listen to any radio now, otherwise I probably would've signed up for satellite radio when he left.

How is Artie still alive? I thought he was supposed to be mere seconds from an overdose and/or massive heart attack.

Did you watch the same interview I did? Why would anyone need to know anything about him with the stories he told? I'm perplexed.

Like the other poster who must have been watching a different interview, you must be listening to a different show.

If you were a huge fan when he was on regular radio, then i'm sure you would enjoy the show a lot more now. Despite what some people would like others to believe, the show is great now that they are unfiltered and can say and do whatever the hell they want to.

Re: Artie Lange on Letterman

I listen to Howard on Sirius everyday even weekends. I love that they replay the daily show throughout the day, so you can pretty much catch the entire show.

Stern and the gang are as funny as ever. It beats any other radio available today, hands down.
