You guy's weren't to happy about my last "favorite" thread because it was painfully obvious which film was the best out of the options. This one is a little tougher. What's your all time favorite Steven Spielburg movie? I'm expecting a lot of votes for Jaws, E.T, Close Encounters, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, and Schindler's List. Have at it.

A rather forgotten by the public and underrated about the known kind of film. I like it...one day I'll buy it.

Yes, it's odd that the OP couldn't guess that Steven Spielberg would have been discussed before. On a movie forum.

I've only seen a few of his films, but my favorite is definitely The Color Purple.

speaking of which the AFI Silver Theatre had a Spielberg retrospect billed as Part 1 last summer, um.... I'm eagerly awaiting the second part.

I just hope we can do whatever is necessary to keep these two 'best Spielberg movie' threads right next to each other on the main page for ever!!!
Votes for Close Encounters on this thread. Will vote for something different in the other.

Because he called everyone (http://forum.dvdtalk.com/9292120-post61.html) assholes (http://forum.dvdtalk.com/9292052-post58.html) and asses (http://forum.dvdtalk.com/9291665-post47.html) in general, not to an individual like I did. That's why I got suspended but he is being let roam free.

One could make the argument that they still are. Not that I would make that argument, though.
