Favorite Jurassic Park film?

What's your favorite? I'm going to have to say the first is my favorite. It's one of my favorite movies of all time actually. Then the second and third.

Re: Favorite Jurassic Park film?

This first probably. Although the 2nd is right up there with the first IMO. If the first film had another half hour on t he end as they drive off and more action after that it would be one of the greatest films ever IMO. The 3rd film is a piece of shit. Completely worthless and disgusting. I have nothing but hate and contempt for it. Just a sloppy, cheap, short waste of all resources.

Re: Favorite Jurassic Park film?

The original is a fucking awesome flick. I saw it in 6th grade and it blew my mind.

Lost World was pretty good, but the acrobatic daughter was annoying.

III is a great popcorn flick.

Re: Favorite Jurassic Park film?

I like part 2 better. It only features 1 annoying kid, even though the 2 from the original are featured, but thankfully only briefly. Had those 2 been shown being eaten by the T-rex in the first one, I would have chosen it.

It wasn't that bad. It was to short, and had a crappy ending, but it's kinda fun to watch. I think the T-Rex should have played a much bigger part because after all, he is the star of the show. Spino is cool but he could never replace the T-Rex. There fight was awsome, but to short. The third is definetly the worst in the series but its still not to bad.

This should be one of the most lop-sided polls ever.

Re: Favorite Jurassic Park film?

I enjoy 3 for what it is, a simple adventure romp with cool-looking Dinosaurs and effects.

2 is a total drag for me because it zigs and zags with too many annoying characters along the way. The safari hunt is the only cool part and even then it's a bit weak.

Re: Favorite Jurassic Park film?

The original Jurassic Park is an all time favorite, possibly top 5 or 10 if I ever went back through and figured it out. Jurassic Park 2 is well made but so preposterous at times, even for a freaking dinosaur movie, that it nearly ruins it. Jurassic Park 3 is a fun little movie, a bit trite for as ambitious as the first two were, but more fun than 2.

The original is a great popcorn flick and guilty pleasure.

The sequels are barely watchable.

Re: Favorite Jurassic Park film?

The first movie.

The only problem is that a lot of time was spent waiting to reveal the dinosaurs, and then there is a mad rush to get everyone out and finish the thing off.

But bonus points for using a slide whistle when Nedry slips in the rain.

Re: Favorite Jurassic Park film?

first one is a classic.

all i could really think about in the second one was why jeff goldblum's daughter was black.
the third one should have just never been made.

Re: Favorite Jurassic Park film?

Obvious the first one was going to win this poll by a landslide.

I didn't care for the 2nd movie and hated the little girl saving the day with gymnast movies. The 3rd was decent and just plain fun.

Re: Favorite Jurassic Park film?

I never saw the third one because I didn't like the first two, but I thought the critics really liked the third one...
