All 3 of these casinos are close together, by the marina and bridge. Which ones are best for player-club signup perks, poker room, maybe cheap slots with drinks, etc. And food. I'll be in AC for 2 days, staying at Harrah's. Thx!

(I know the Borgata is very nice and popular, but I'm looking for specifics in the above categories.)

I can't answer the player sign-up perks as I signed up more than 10 years ago. I know Trump used to have a promo but I forget what it was.

Borgata is the nicest, I think, and draws the youngest crowd (under 60). Harrahs has done great things with the casino over the years as it keeps getting bigger and nicer.

Poker Rooms:
Borgata is the bigger draw. It is a huge room with quite a few tables. Almost too big for me though. You get charged for "time" if you play 2-5NL or up.

Harrahs is a brand new room and I love it. It is off the beaten path in the back of the casino. Low ceilings. Probably 30 tables. They don't charge time at 2-5.

If you are tehre on the weekend, Borgata runs an 11am tourney that is worth playing. Harrahs tourneys. even on the weekends, don't get a ton of players.

Showboat, a Harrahs property on the boardwalk, is my favorite poker room and is usually where I go. If you stay at Harrahs you can take a free shuttle to Showboat.

Harrahs has cheaper slots and table games.

Thx for the info. I mostly hung at Harrah's where I was staying. The poker room was very comfortable and easy; there were tables running all night although not very crowded. I was too mellow to deal with the seriousness of the no limit tables, so I chilled at the 2/4 limit and made a few hundred bucks. Crazy loose table, with at about 75% of people seeing each flop (that includes my tighter play), and a couple of total ATMs that would call your every bet. (For example, one guy had pocket 7's and called all the way to the river on my bets even with an A and a K on the flop!)

One guy said the 10/20 limit game at Borgata was very soft. I will also check out the Showboat next time--sounds pretty nice.

Also, they have the Jitney mini-buses for $2 that run all day/night from the marina area to the stretch of boardwalk casinos along Pacific Ave. Cheaper than a cab and just about as fast.

Thx for the info!
