reformend Blur - any future US tour dates ??
I know that Blur are doing some UK gigs and festivals (Glastonbury, T in the Park) but has there been any word if they'll do any stops here in the states?
anyone, anyone

Better yet, where is this "new wave" album I've read they were working on?

No U.S. tour dates have been announced. I'm not holding my breath but I'd really like to see them do a full tour and not just play the major festivals.

I saw them in Minneapolis without Graham during their Think Tank tour, and while the music held up without him - the chemistry was a little off.
I'll definitely see them again the next time they tour the US.

I never got to see them with Graham so my fingers are crossed hard for at least a few US dates. I imagine they'd at least have to play NYC, right?

That appears to be the same setlist from every other show they've done so far. Not that it's not an amazing setlist, but I was kind of hoping they'd mix it up a bit between shows. [Personally, I was kind of hoping "Blue Jeans" would make an appearance since it's on 'Midlife'...]
I think I'll hold off on ordering the live discs until I know if the setlists are the same or not both nights.

I highly highly recommend all US Blur fans run and grab this DVD release:
it features the documentary which was released to UK theatres in 2009, and the complete Hyde Park concert on the second DVD:
The setlist of the Hyde Park almost mirrors the Glasto set, but with the addition of 'Death of a Party' inbetween 'Song 2' and 'For Tomorrow'
both the doc and concert are ace and absoutely essential for any Blur fan.

I got the DVD a few weeks ago and I have to agree that the documentary is excellent and well worth tracking down for anyone with an interest in the band.
I haven't gotten around to watching the live DVD yet, but it's certainly on the "to do" list.
