Anyone had a problem with this dvd on their Pioneer dv-414? I have never had ANY problem out of the player, so this is irritating me. The movie plays fine from chapters 1-11. But once it gets to chapter 12 (62:52) it locks up. I tried just skipping to the 13th chapter or jumping to later times such as 62:53, nothing helps. The friggin movie was just getting interesting too. Any response would be greatly appreciated.

I have a pioneer 525 and it played Bone collector last night w/o a hitch. 414 is nearly the same player.

How old is you player (early 1999?) - could be firmware. There was post earlier on how you could find the rev. firmware on-screen.

Was the disk clean? - sometimes rentals have enough crap on them that can stop play.
