The single has been out and about for a few weeks now and it's fantastic. I'm beyond excited for the album and the remix package looks amazing. There's supposedly a 12" format for the single as well, it just hasn't been finalized yet. Which is great as the artwork is also wonderful.

No US date confirmed yet, but I'm sure it'll be coming at some point. Anyone else looking forward to this?

edit... I just listened to that thing 5 times in a row. It's as good as many of their past hits. Hope the album can sustain that kind of yummy.

Supposedly they've also got another remix in the works - I forget exactly, but I think it was Lady Gaga's next single after 'Poker Face' in the UK. [Not sure which track it was, though.] That would makes sense as she's duetting with them on 'Nothing has been proved' at the Brits this month.

You can listen to 30 second snippets of each song on iTunes UK if that's your thing.

I wasn't going to but couldn't resist the temptation. I wish I had now, as they all sound great and now the wait is going to be even harder...

No vinyl listing yet. This can't be the first album they don't release on LP - the artwork is just too beautiful. Anyways, with no US release date in sight I'll probably be importing this one. [I feel like we knew US info for "Fundamental" before the UK release date even though it was a few months later.]

Recordstore.co.uk also has the single with a bundle deal for both CD formats - 3.50 for both discs is a great price, and I've always had good luck with them.

There's also a free download of their Lady Gaga remix at aol.co.uk today.

the US release WAS scheduled on Astralwerks for the very next day after the UK release - tuesday March 24th... but it has been delayed...

the new official date of US release has not been announced but april 14th & 21st are both heavily rumored...

Thanks for the tip - I hadn't heard that yet. If it's only a few weeks, I can probably hold off for a US release - I'll need time to spend with the single anyways.

That said, the remixes are out there and it's very tempting to give in and sneak a listen....

Previews are now on uk itunes. Can't wait to own it. I don't think it's been mentioned but "This Used To Be The Future" on the bonus disc will be a duet with Philip Oakey from The Human League. I think afterward would be a good time for a follow up to Alternative. Yes would be another 5 albums starting from Bilingual and hopefully with all the momentum they can finally release the expanded editions of Nightlife, Release, and Fundamental.

Wow, the Gui Boratto mix of Love Etc is totally off the charts. This mix sounds LARGE on a big club system!

Supposedly this is still on target for a 03/24 US release on Astralwerks. A friend "in the know" confirmed that, and there's a proper pre-order up on Amazon.com right now. If that stays put it would be very nice.
