Holy Cow! Rare World Series Baseball DVDs

Hi all,

I finally got around to set up a new collection online since the fall of DVDSpot, and started inputting some discs into DVD Aficionado. I was putting in my Yankees World Series Box Set (6 DVDs - 1977, 1978, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000) and noticed they were OOP so I clicked the Amazon link to see how much they are going for in the marketplace. One title was at $250, another at $500! Does anyone have any idea what these are actually worth? I put mine up there with matching super high prices for the hell of it, doubting they will actually sell for that much.. but who knows. I got this entire 6 disc box set probably four or five years ago in the clearance section of a Marshall's for around $25! Does anyone know anything else about these discs? To see exactly what I'm talking about, look at my dvdaf, username filmnoir. They are titled as MLB - The World Series 19XX....

Separate, more complete set were released not so long ago and are still in print:

http://www.amazon.com/York-Yankees-1...636786&sr=1-12

http://www.amazon.com/York-Yankees-C...4636786&sr=1-8

And please next time use a question mark and a less vague title for your thread.
