I have yet to own a double sided disc but heard there is a need to eject the disc tray and flip the disc to read the second side of the disc. All the while, I thought dvd player play just like LD player. Is it true? Is there any player which can do so? How about dvd-rom

There are no consumer DVD-Video players or DVD-ROM drives which can read both sides of a DVD disc at the same time, or can automatically flip the disc over.

There are some industrial DVD-ROM juke boxes that have this feature.
