Cardboard Slipsleeves of Certain Titles (A Place To Buy Them Exclusively?)

Maybe I'm a tad OCD, but I'm looking to just buy the cardboard slipsleeves of few DVD's that are *supposed* to have them. I've bought a few titles that didn't come with them and they look--well, tacky. I guess they look nicer with them. Anyway for titles such as these:

Kinsey (2 disc)
Thank You For Smoking (WS)
Napoleon Dynamite (2 disc) [I think it was a lenticular case]
Silence of the Lambs (2 disc)
American Psycho: Unrated [with the insert inside, too]

I'm willing to pay about $5 a sleeve. Please let me know if you know a site. Or if you have them yourself and are willing to part with them. Thank you.

I have Silence of the Lambs, American Psycho and Napoleon Dynamite (lenticular sleeve) but shipping them safely would be a bitch and a half.

I must have a different kind of OCD, because I throw most of my slipcovers away. I've only kept a few of them where the cover art is different. I'll never understand why people like slipcovers so much.

I too wish there was a place to purchase them. I am weary about buying from Amazon or Ebay because they don't specify if it will come with the cardboard sleeve or not.

You can just buy a $1 empty case at the dollar store and put the sleeve overtop of it.

Yeah, ordering from Amazon and eBay can be exhausting. Or do you mean "wary"?

I only care if the art is different. "Thanks You For Smoking" was a case that I went out of my way to get. I'm also prone to lenticular covers, if they do a good job with them. The Halloween remake had a lenticular that looked practically 3D!

I have the choice, I go with the slipcover. I really learned to appreciate them when our cat started spraying last year and hit several of our DVD shelves. Sadly, we lost a few slipcovers (including The Prestige, which still bugs me). Worse than the slipcovers, though, were several titles where the spray actually hit enough of the artwork inserts at the top or bottom where the plastic didn't protect them that we lost those, too. None of our Jaws titles have artwork anymore!

Also, if you're the type to chuck your slipcovers, why not offer them to your fellow collectors? You'd hook up someone who would appreciate them, you'd keep some trash out of the landfills and might even make some coin in the process. I'll never understand why people who de-value things they own are content to simply dispose of them instead of trying to find something more productive to do with them.

i really agree with the last paragraph!
regarding youru cat; what exactly do you mean by spraying? did your cat piss on the dvds
i am sure you love your pet, but if i had a cat that "sprayed" on my dvds, there would be a furball flying out the window instantly
