question re: PS3 video output
So I just got my PS3 for Christmas, so I haven't had it long. Maybe you guys can help me with something. At home I connect the system via HDMI and all is good. Now, I'm house-sittting for a couple of weeks and brought my PS3 along. I don't have access to HDMI so I was just going to hook it up via the composite cables. However, I don't get any picture. I've tried on multiple tvs through multiple inputs with multiple sets of composite cables and I still get nothing. Is there possibly something in the display settings that I accidentally set that's preventing me from getting a picture? Of course I can't check the settings because I can't see anything? Any ideas?

Re: question re: PS3 video output
When you turn it on, instead of just pressing the power button on the front of the console, hold it down for a few second to re-set the video settings.

yeah what he said. It'll automatically detect how you have it connected. Right now the PS3 still thinks it's using HDMI.
