Hi all. I just started piecing my ruined comic book collection back together. I won the Death: The Time of Your Life 3 part series off eBay recently. I noticed there are black bars over some of the dialogue in the story. It's been a while since I last read these books. Does anyone know if that is how they originally ran or were they censored in later pressings? The issues seem to be first run, but I just don't remember if this is how they first appeared.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
