Well since we've had a stack of one and only threads in Other for a while now, I figured it was time to add one here.

Trailers and comments specifically related to the trailers only - everything else related to a film should go in it's own thread. Lotta good flicks coming out and it seems that a general thread just for the trailers (although no reason why they shouldn't also be in the individual movie threads) would be kinda convenient and entertaining.

I'll start off with a few I've come across recently (or not so recently, but that haven't been released yet) that I'm really looking forward to seeing.

On a side note, any interest in a "One and only upcoming movie poster thread"?

edit. hmm, haven't had issues using embed links from twitch before - although this could possibly be because it's a different video player now.

On the one hand, I enjoy poster art. On the other hand, I already know I won't be visiting this thread regularly simply because of the load time. Picture files are easier to load than video clips, true, but an entire thread can get awfully clunky in a hurry. I think if only small thumbnails are posted, rather than the entire image, it could work.

Also, for other poster art fans, just tonight I found a site I recommend: http://www.impawards.com/index.html

They archive movie posters (mostly recent era stuff, but some classic/vintage works, too) and even have a group of annual awards categories. Subjective, yes, but fun to consider.

If you're going to do this, at least put the trailers in Spoilers, that way it doesn't take 45 minutes to load the page and people can pick which trailers they want to see, like this:
