The Beast (Patrick Swayze) -- "Two Choices" -- 1/22/09

Photobucket

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

Barker and Ellis target a drug-trafficking ring run by a man in police custody. They devise a risky plan to let the man go free in order to ensnare him and his band of criminals. The scheme becomes even riskier when they discover there's an ex-cop looking to settle a score with the ring leader.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is the 1st episode that Swayze shot last summer post-cancer diagnosis. The Pilot was probably shot in the winter of 2007 since Chicago was full of snow in it.

Dont know what state Swayze was in, but he looked about the same to me.

The show is getting better I think. I also really like Kevin J OConner in there. He was great as Benny and the only reason I know its him is cause he looks the same way he did in there will be blood.

i agree. wasn't as good as the pilot, but still pretty good. seeing swayze shoot himself was pretty badass.

I'm not even going to look that far ahead. Swayze's not dead yet. I know his prognosis is grim, but he's still breathing and living his life. Despite the cancer, the guy managed to work 13 hour days for 5 months making this show and I respect that. The show already wrapped production a few months ago. I'm a fan of his and will watch his work. I don't know why some of you are thinking his coffin and gravestone are waiting in the wings and are using that as an excuse not to watch this.
