Smallville -- "Bulletproof" -- 01/22/09

"Bulletproof"
Spoiler:
Clark discovers John Jones was shot while working as a police officer, so Clark dons the uniform and goes undercover to find the culprit. Meanwhile, Lana confronts Tess and tells her Lex isn’t the man she thinks he is. Lana's shocking news forces Tess to reevaluate her position as the head of Luthorcorp.

Now that was utter filler only partially saved by a 1 minute conversation between Oliver and Tess.

What a stinker! I thought we were done with these shitty Lana/Clark on again, off again endings.

Kill Lana already!

Thankfully I took a nap this afternoon, otherwise I would have asleep 15 minutes in.

It wasn't that bad.
Was one of those bad cops from Galactica?

Decent chick fight.

Too bad Tess didn't ram a curtain rod through Lana's head though. That would have made it the best episode of all time.

Cool they had Dan Turpin on. Turpin had a decent role in STAS. Remember, he got killed by Darkseid's eye beams.

That was bad. It was most definitely filler.

The show wasnt bad, obviously filler, but I thought the Lana boat had finally sailed. Guess not

Re: Smallville -- "Bulletproof" -- 01/22/09

Is it just me or the moment just before the end credits appeared, did Lana have a "umm, I didn't feel anything" look on her face after the kiss?

Crappy episode, really. The only thing I liked was seeing Dan "Terrible" Turpin.

I was surprised Lana beat Tess, though.

That's just Kristin Kruek's stock "Lana" face.

I actually enjoyed the episode, as the baddies were average joes messing around with folks who are out of their league. Clark undercover as a cop, nice. Wasn't one of the cops Sarah Conner's ex? (From the TV series?)
Can't wait for the Doomsday plot line to kick back in...

At least the cops were nice to look at.

Definitely filler, as others have said. Only thing I liked was the Superman: The Movie homage with the bullet hand catch.

+1. Pretty good filler episode IMO. Can't wait 'til Clark and Doomsday meet again though!

chick fight was awesome, episode was entertaining so it's an acceptable filler.

Yeah, I really liked that bit. The eps had it's moments and that was one of the few.

I was actually hoping Clark would smirk sorta at the camera after he opened his hand.

Wife corrected me, he was actually Plow Guy on Men in Trees. He was also in Psych this week as a fireman. Ty Ollsen.

While this was mostly a filler episode, the Tess/Lex thing will most likel be important to the plot later on.

I had been saying to myself that Lana wasn't that bad since she came back
then they pulled that shit at the end

Yeap, pretty good except for the on/off Clark+Lana stuff.
