A majority of the reviews from Sundance for the flick were very positive.

I'm hoping a distributor picks it up and gives it somewhat of a theatrical release.

I love Derrick Comedy, and I think this movie looks pretty hilarious. Can't wait to see it, and hopefully if it doesn't get distribution Derrick will self-distribute a DVD so the film doesn't gather dust on a shelf somewhere. Of course, I'd prefer greatly for them to get distribution, but there are films like All the Boys Love Mandy Lane that I am still waiting for.

From the trailer, the Mystery Team movie reminds me of Pineapple Express - instead of a stoner action movie, this one looks like a geek action movie...

To be honest, this would be a great film for Magnet to distribute (hoping they release the film on a bigger release scale like The Host, The Signal, and Let the Right One In and not like the rest of their releases).

Can't wait for this. Looks like a cross between Brick and a 70's Hanna-Barbera show with a thick sheen of Blue Velvet and Shane Black doused on it.

If it comes to Vegas, I'll be there opening night.

My Other Self

I'm usually all for comedies like this, but the two trailers didn't really do much for me. I LOL'd at the part with the little girl, but that's about it.

Could be fun. I'll probably catch it if it opens here.

I usually find these sort of movies to be a let down. But I thoroughly enjoyed this. Plenty of laugh out loud moments and great performances.

I got this from Redbox a few weeks ago, and loved it! Defintely one of the funnier movies I've seen in a while.

I didn't realize just where in New Hampshire it was filmed, until I recognized the strip club the Mystery Team ends up at. Good times

I was worried at first, the opening scene was probably the weakest of the movie, but once it got going - DAMN was it funny. I like Glover from Community and have a huge crush on Aubrey Plaza. Lots of great lines in this one and I'm definitely going to rewatch it sometime soon. "I'm not going to lie to you - I think we had sex".

watched this last night and wasn't too impressed. just didn't work for me. seems like something fans of NAPOLEON DYNAMITE would like. i did laugh at a couple scenes but overall it just fell flat. wasn't a total waste because aubrey plaza =

I didn't like it. I couldn't even finish the movie. This would have been a good film with a professional director. I love Derrick Comedy, but this film didn't flow.

I just watched this via Netflix streaming last night, and I agree with you 100% on the opening. I'm glad I didn't turn it off after the first 10 or so minutes, because I thought it got much funnier after that point as well.
