Re: Big Bang Theory: The Friendship Algorithm

I actually wish they had turned this into a flashback episode. I'd like to see Leonard's roommate interview with Shelden

Re: Big Bang Theory: The Friendship Algorithm

Pretty solid episode. The actual friend algorithm was my favorite part and the LOA haha.

Re: Big Bang Theory: The Friendship Algorithm

Sheldon was waaaay over the top with the facial ticks and the bit went on forever. This was a weak episode. A five minute episode in 21 minutes. Howard in small doses steals the show.

They should have had some of Penny's answers to the questions. Those could have been funny.

My fav. line was when Howard said to Penny "I'm not looking so bad now" - and Penny's reaction.

Even the not-the-best episodes (and this was, for me, one of them) are still better than most other sitcoms.

Re: Big Bang Theory: The Friendship Algorithm

I loved the actual algorithm and Howard accounting for the infinite loop, as well as his comment at the end. Other then that, the rest of the episode wasn't as great as the others this season.

Yet still fun to watch compared to other shows, IMO.

I've already applied Sheldon's algorithm and made a new friend today!

You went to the zoo and met a cockatoo?

Hopefully not a girl at a book store.

That was quite fast. You didn't have to go through the pending stage?

What was your LOA to get out of the infinite loop?

Crazy lines on that episode!

That was one of my favorite parts also. What did LOA stand for? Least objectionable activity? I tried looking it up, but I don't have to do a lot of flowcharting.

What was scary to me was that I actually got the gist of the asymptote joke, but Chuck Lorre actually explained it in depth in this episode's vanity card.

Re: Big Bang Theory: The Friendship Algorithm

I did think this episode had some funny parts, but I think they are trying to hard with Sheldon the show is better when it is not all about Sheldon, and feels less forced.

Some very funny lines but this episode just did not do it for me. I agree that Penny should have played a bigger role.

That look like a legitimate reaction.

The episode was Ok, but after 2 episodes, I am tired of Bawwy and hope he nevaw comes back.

Did I miss an episode where Leonard broke up with his girlfriend, or is Sara Rue coming back later?

It happened a bout 4 episodes ago in "The Vartabedian Conundrum".

Leaonard was afraid the ralationship was moving to fast and when he wanted to slow it down, Sara Rue's character went a bit nuts. The relationship essentially ended there. She could always reappear, but I doubt it.

I think Leaonard ended it via text.

Me too. I guess his accent was supposed to be funny but it was more of "jeez, that's going to be annoying." I wouldn't mind seeing him pop way down the line like the way Sara Gilbert's character did, but I don't care to see him over and over again.

didn't they hook up right after that text, though? I took it to mean they were just going to go a bit slower, but I guess I may have misinterpreted.

I actually disagree with Lorre's vanity card, reading the explanation made it even less funny to me. There were funnier jokes than the asymptote one...

Re: Big Bang Theory: The Friendship Algorithm

I still like the little jokes and I think the only useful part of Barry is his last name which made me think right away of Terminator 3 not sure if it was intended but that's what I thought
