Panasonic TH46PZ85 or Samsung PN50A550
I recently got a Samsung LN46A750 LCD and while I'm very satisfied with the picture quality, I can't help but notice some backlight bleeding in the top corners.
I'm considering returning my set and replacing it for a plasma. I've looked around and two sets stand out: the Panasonic TH46PZ85 and the Samsung PN50A550. The fact that they're 300-500$ cheaper than my LCD also helps with my decision to replace my set.
Which set do you guys recommend? I see lots of recommendations for Panny sets around here but CNET seems to have given a better review to the Samsung.
Thanks!

All I can tell you is I have the TH46PZ85 and I'm very happy with it. I don't know much about the Samsung, but it's hard to imagine the PN50A550 being any better.
By the way....I almost bought the A650 LCD before I chose the TH46PZ85.

Well I ended up getting the Samsung PN50A550 since it was about 500$ cheaper than the 50 inch Panasonic 1080p plasmas (in Canada). This is my first plasma after owning a couple LCDs and so far I'm very satisfied. The picture looks very natural. I'm gonna play the break in DVD I found on AVS for a couple days to make sure I don't have any burn in problems.

samsung plasmas are still extremely sensitive to image retention. I used to work at circuit city and we have one that played a blu-ray demo disc all. The picture was always moving, but the tv still managed to get burn in from the legends of jazz logo from that part of the disc. The panasonic on the other hand was constantly left on dvd menu screens for long periods of time and never showed any hint of burn in.
