So now we're getting a Smallville version of the Legion of Superheroes?
And I love that shot of Erika Durance.

Oh hell yes!
Trailer:
There is another, but I think it may cover two episodes rather than just Legion. However, it does focus more on the legacy aspect than the current plot.

Or a hi-res pictorial of her in the French maid outfit from a few episodes back...

i thought it was a good episode. would have a liked a little more of a stronger return but the preview for next week looks pretty strong so that should be good. it got a little cheesy towards the end IMO.

For some reason, even though I'm a comic book nut, I've never seen an episode of this show. The early reports were that it was 90210 with Clark's superpowers sloppily tacked on and not at all integrated into things. Was/is that an accurate sense of the show? Would people recommend this show to someone who is a fan of the action/adventure aspects of a show like Buffy or Heroes?

The show is up and down... I really think that this has been one of the best seasons so far. Would love to see Johns involved more with the show.

Overall, I enjoyed it, but the writing was really hammy in the mid-section (killing the host, else Brainiac sucks all human data).
I wished Alexz Johnson was a better actress because her acting was sub-par. The guys were fair, though Garth was written a little too much of a goof, but Rok was solid within the trio.
I thought the direction was a little hammy as well.
I don't think Kristen Kruek has ever looked more yummy, digging her new hairstyle, which frames her faces much better. Didn't even miss Lois and Jimmy, and probably a good idea to keep the cast numbers down to 7 characters for this episode.
So why does Chloe get no love in the future? Hmm...

Well they did drop the hint of Chloe having her name changed to protect her after Clark becomes Superman. Perhaps instead of the fan speculation of Lois dying (although I find it interesting that in an episode that deals with future events they chose to keep off screen with not so much as a cameo) and Chloe taking on the name Lois Lane in honor of her dead cousin, perhaps Chloe will become Lori Lemaris. That's one character we've yet to see.
Sad to see that they pretty much established that Lana is never going to get killed off.
And why does Alexz Johnson look so familiar. Has she been on some other GW show. Supernatural perhaps?

Excellent episode. Forget the justice league, I want a Legion spin-off.

It is kind of fun seeing some of the easter eggs they have in the show. For example if you are aware of the flash you will get a kick out of the names on the fake ids of smallville version of the flash.

Loved the mention of "The Cape" and No tights or flight. Plus that they didn't know of Chloe from the future.
Why don't they give the Legion of Superheroes a spinoff?
