RIP b-movie director Ray Dennis Steckler
Passed away on January 7 in his sleep. He was the director (and starred in) of numerous 60s b-movies. I know some folks here have seen the atmospheric horror camp classic The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!? His others were The Thrill Killers and Rat Pfink a Boo Boo. The worlds of his movies were really wild and out there too. I bet he's riding around that Cyclon Racer with Ortega in the sky.

The Thrill Killers is actually not bad - Steckler jettisons the usual goofy humor and delivers a surprisingly watchable, creepy, down-beat film.

Quite shocking news. Judging by his career in film, his age appeared to be reasonable for the passing. But he sounded young on his audio commentaries!
