(Dead) Chronological Donald Vol. 3 back in-stock at Amazon - $24.49

Doubt this will last long, but figured there might still be folks out there who don't want to pay the obscene mark-ups the tin has been fetching of late:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000VE4UC4/

(Vol. 4 occasionally pops back in-stock too, but it rarely stays there for more than a few minutes)

Thanks, I'm in for one... I was looking for something to get with Entourage S4 to get free shipping, so this works out perfect...

I just saw Volume 3 at Fry's today. I didn't know it was rare.

I lucked into a volume 3 at a Hastings store a few months back without even realizing how rare it was. Glad I got it too or I would have passed on 1, 2, and 4. I definitely recommend grabbing this one before it gets away.

Brian T,
When you posted this did it say In Stock...or the "Ships in 7-13 days" like it does now?

I ordered one because I missed out on #3....thanks for posting this!

Thanks for the heads up on this. I hated having to pay $80 on ebay for the original Mickey Mouse color tin....

I know that I own either vol 1, 2, or 3; but its at home and I'm at work.

Couldn't curb my impulsiveness and ordered vol 3 just now. May end up having an extra to sell here.

I'm not Brian but when I ordered it yesterday, it said in stock. When I put it in my cart, it stated usually ships in 7-13 days even though I have Amazon Prime.

Brian T, Thanks for the heads up. I almost paid eBay price but decided to wait.

I didn't know they had only made 39,500 tins of DD Vol 4, that's a lot lower than Vol 1 and 2. I procrastinated too long and missed out buying this on Amazon and Deep Discount. Luckily I found one in a B&M store, it cost a bit more, but I'm glad I was able to find it to complete my set.

Crap, I didn't know 4 would be hard to find now or I would have ordered it before it was released.

Don't recall, but looking at the order now, it says the estimated ship date will be between Jan. 14 and Jan. 20. Knowing Amazon, probably earlier.

There are undoubtedly copies of these two volumes available, but presumably in limited supply, which explains why they pop up from time to time, only to disappear. If you see it at local store for a reasonable price, it might be best to grab it.

Vol. 4 also returns to Amazon (very) occasionally, but the two or three times I've seen it come back, it never stays available as long as this Vol. 3 has.

I always try to have lots of various low priced items in my "to buy later" cart or wishlist for this type of thing.

Tons of low priced DVDs and books are there, but maybe some batteries?

I placed an order hoping to get a copy because up until recently didn't realize this was so rare...now to find a copy of volume 4. Its gonna really bug me if I don't have all 4 volumes.
