List of DTS-MA and or Dolby TrueHD BluRay discs?

Hello,

I'm ready to start collecting BR discs. I don't want to double dip on them as I did some SD DVDs by buying the first release and then rebuying when the DTS version came out.

Anyone know a place that lists what discs are DTS-MA and or Dolby TrueHD? I'm not looking to tell if a single disc is DTS-MA but a list of all discs that are DTS-MA - kind of like - spannerworks has but with BR's.

Thanks

Lossless audio is lossless audio, You can't tell a difference between trueHD or dts-HD master audio or PCM . There are no scientific studies that can show you hear a difference between the three . All three have good mixes and bad yet some swear there is a difference.

Compare the three: PCM-TCoN The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Apocalyto, Spiderman 3 (which by the way has both PCM and TrueHD mixes) Kill Bill vol 1 and 2. Pirates of the Caribbean 1 2 3.

dts-HD Master Audio: The Incredible Hulk, U-571, the Forbidden Kingdom, Wanted, Hellboy II, Wall e

Dolby TrueHD: The Dark Knight, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ironman, Transformers, Casino Royale Collector's Edition, Bladerunner.

These are some titles that have the best audio mixes in there respected format. See if you hear a difference.

Around 3/4s of all Blu-ray discs feature lossless or uncompressed audio.

Thanks! I also noticed it mentions the codec and didn't know that BR were recorded in avc for newer discs!

Spiderman 3 (which by the way has both PCM and TrueHD mixes)
While it does have both, the PCM track is only 16-bit, while the TrueHD track is 24-bit....
If you have a high quality enough system (and good enough ears), the TrueHD audio should sound slightly better due to the greater bit depth...
Not ALL lossless is necessarily equal, only if the studio is using the exact same master, then the compression format is irrelevant...
