For the first time on television since its original broadcast more than 52 years ago, MLB Network will air Don Larsen's 1956 World Series perfect game on Jan. 1 2009 at 7 p.m. ET. The program will feature new commentary by both Larsen and Yogi Berra, as well as the original call by legendary baseball broadcasters Mel Allen and Vin Scully. Using the original film negatives, MLB Productions has retransferred this footage with grass valley/Technicolor technology to restore the quality of the classic game.

I hope they're not going to colorize it like ESPN did with that football "Greatest Game Ever Played" recently.

I see that now there's a show for the Hall of Fame inductees. Every little bit of sports news is going to have its own show eventually.

Do they have a day to day schedule listing anywhere?

This just in-the MLB Network has already changed their name without airing one minute of programming. It will now be known as YES 2(Yankee Entertainment System 2). After Larsen's perfect game they will show Yankee Classics non-stop and if you hit your SAP button once you will hear John Sterling say-THE YANKEES WIN......THE YANKEES WIN...and if you hit your SAP button twice you will hear Mel Allen say.....THE NEW YORK YANK.......KEYS.

^ funny, sure why not.
I wonder why baseball hasnt already changed it's name to "the yankees/red sox show" or something like that.
almost every national game has one of those teams involved.
