This sale is missing some stuff from last year (All in the Family,Good Times,Jeffersons,Sanford and Son) but has a few other good ones (Riptide,Hex,Kidnapped). Also, some of the pirces are a bit cheaper, some are a bit higher, but overall pretty good.

Probably wait a bit and see what DD has (they mirrored this last year, but it was at least a week after the Amazon one started).

Oh BTW, who's the Boss season 1 is only 14.00 with B1G1, 11.00 higher than Big Lots and about 3.00 higher than eBay!!!!!!!!

I was expecting better prices... I Dream of Jeannie and Married w/Children sets are 27.99. I remember last year getting some for 19.99 and B1G1F... There are a few good prices I guess, but nothing to convince me to order...

HMMMMM, I am not sure what to do here as I hate passing up deals. I already have the OOP Larry Sanders Complete First Season. And since Shandling said they are not releasing anything other than last year's Not Just the Best of the Larry Sanders Show. But I don't know what episodes overlap there. Anyway, if anyone knows that, great. And if anyone has any suggestions as to a newer series w/ repeat value, I am all ears....

The lack of Stargate Atlantis seasons pisses me off. I'd like to find a good deal on those. I might go ahead and grab Married with Children 5-8 though. I don't see anything I want to pair up with 9 to complete the set, so I guess I'd be hoping to see it on sale another time.

p.s. While we're complaining about Amazon, did anyone check out their "Blowout Sale" ? Completely insane. I quit looking after I saw Lois & Clark Season ONE for $35. I bought that for $20 at Walmart like 3 years ago!

After the fiasco with the B1G1 sale at amazon a couple of Christmases ago, I would be a little leary about this one. Of course, it helps that there is absolutely nothing included int eh sale that I want to buy.

WTF? Why does it suddenly seem like everything I want to order no longer "ships in 24 hours"? 4 Married With Children seasons are 10-14 day wait. CSI Season 1 is a 10-14 day and it's not even on sale! HOw can that title take so long? Is Amazon suddenly turning into DeepDiscount, or is this just an unlucky choice of items to order?

Amazon's shipping is much faster, even with a 10-14 day notice on your account. Usually, they get stock much quicker. It's just an estimate.

Because people made "honest and correct orders" last time. They didnt do anything to "trick" the system. Amazon decided after the fact to charge people oftentimes a random amount. If you're fine with amazon perhaps charging you more for the same order a month after you ahve your order in hand, then by all means go ahead and order and don't worry about it. But if you wouldnt like that to happen, then be leery, or as you say "order at your own risk".

Of course there was a glitch with amazon's system. YOU'RE missing the point here. I never said that there wasn't a glitch. What I said was nobody had to do anything special to get the deal.

Sorry man but you are reaching on this one. That last deal was a glitch that people thought they could try and exploit and Amazon had every right to charge for the one set on that. I've never had any issues with Amazon and they have the best known customer service in the retail industry.

I guess I dont see what you mean by reaching? Are you saying that a retailer has a right to charge a customer at a later date because they didnt like the price that they agreed to sell something at? That is absolutely ridiculous. Whether it was a glitch or not doesnt matter. Amazon displayed a price on several pages before the transaction was completed. People agreed to the price, and the items shipped. They had plenty of time to cancel the orders, per their policies. What they dont have a right to do is try to charge people more than they agreed to pay.

I wish! LOVED that show. Also wish "It's Your Move" would come out on DVD, but I highly doubt it ever will...

And Seinfeld, all seasons, have dropped to $19.49 *plus* have been REMOVED from the B1G1 sale! I was hoping for S8 to get a PM with Target this week and maybe get it as the G1 part of a deal... but no... they had to drop *all* season prices... which were a couple of $$ better as B1G1, before they went "on sale"...
