anyone here remember the movie local hero? remembering the beauty of the landscape and the charm of the people, all surrounded by a very good story. i see this same scenario laid out in noelle. i rented this for the reason that my daughter's name is exactly spelt noelle, never thinking that this movie was anything but a couple hours wasted again. with all the hype of a.i. computer generated drama, this film defies all this and throws all that over the cliff. if you have a few precious hours to spend with a warm toddy and a good friend by all means watch noelle. remembering that this movie is a low budget film for the holidays, these actors are not of the best caliber but that is one charm in a bucket of charms. if you don't get this movie or find this movie boring then i might have to think i am out of touch with drama. all i can say is rent it and if you like this film or hate it post a reply. out.
