I already have it from the DD sale. This is a great price, for a great series.

They are matching Best Buy I see. Sopranos is $174.99 too.

Unless it is a big exclusive or something I really, really want, I will not buy DVDs or BDs on release date. The price drops almost immediately.

Yep, I was on the fence about this one 'cause I have the standard DVD, but for that price, it's a done deal. I'm giving my original to a friend for Christmas.

Exclusives are usually what sways me. But if there isn't an exclusive worth getting, it makes sense to wait. Prices drop too quickly nowadays... Except maybe on Disney titles. Those don't drop quickly, if at all...

No kidding. Cars is still $19.99 regular price. Once in a great while, it'll go on sale for $14.99 or so. I'm waiting for it to drop to $10 or cheaper brand new so I can buy it.

If I had a HDTV and Blu-Ray player, I would be all over this deal. BoB is one of the select few DVDs I would gladly double dip on BR.

While I think BoB is one of the best mini-series ever, the frequent dark and grainy scenes cause me to question the value of an upgrade. Plus, it appears they didn't bother with subtitles. Again.

Very tempting, but since I already have the DVD version, and just watched it this past year, I'll hold off on an upgrade. Great price for anyone who doesn't have it.

Do we really need a thread for each individual HBO set that amazon is pricematching Best Buy for this week? It would seem a single thread would do the trick.

Personally I am glad it was posted as a single topic otherwise I would have missed it. Then again, I guess such things just don't concern me.
