Any reasons why all these discounted HD-DVD's are found up north ?
I know some USA dealers sell HD-DVD's but why not at Wal Mart, etc.
Are HD-DVD players more popular in Canada ?

I do not know why, but there is a sudden influx of cheap HD-DVD in Canada and it all started with Giant Tiger this year.

Here is a chronological order of when these HD-DVD were released this year;

Giant Tiger - $6.88
Future Shop - 50% off all HD-DVD including Box Sets (PM was possible)
Wal-Mart - $5.00 (first wave)
Wal-Mart - $5.00 (second wave)
Wal-Mart - $5.00 (third wave)
Zellers - $6.99 (first wave)
Zellers - $4.87 (second wave)
Rexall Drug Mart - $4.87

All HD-DVD movies are new in pristine condition.
