$20 rebate when you purchase LOST Season 4 on both DVD & Blu-ray.

I noticed that there was a $20 rebate form inside the LOST Season 4 DVD set I purchased.

... though if someone wanted to go through the hassle, I see in another thread that TRU is selling Lost: S4 for $25. After a $20 rebate and selling the set, you could probably make a few bucks.

Most people are probably not going to buy both, but I figured I'd mention it.

Maybe if you know someone who has the Blu-ray version and you have the DVD version you could split the rebate.

It is the holiday season, so it is possible that someone might buy the DVD and then get the Blu-ray as a gift for someone.

Looks like the rebate is good for purchases up to 5/31/09. Maybe there will be a nice drop in price for the Blu-ray or DVD.

WHY must you damage the UPC or proof of purchase though? I hate doing that...

I wouldn't want to remove the UPC from the box, but the the proof of purchase tab isn't too bad to remove. It is on inside of the DVD case and you'd probably never notice it was missing if you remove it carefully. It is perforated and ready to be cut off.

You would save much more just by not buying S4 on DVD.

Some folks still don't have Blu-ray, you know. If in the next FIVE months they go Blu, this could encourage them to upgrade this TV set.

Or, perhaps you get the DVD set as a gift this Xmas. Upgrade to Blu-ray and get $20.

Maybe if you have one version and a friend has the another, you could mail in the rebate and split it.

I would. I only paid .01 (one cent) for Season 4 of Lost on DVD. Wal-mart decided to only charge me .01 when I went to price match it against Toys-r-Us. The CSM had to change the price and they made it .01. I do plan on buying it on Blu-ray (I do have a Blu-ray player), but didn't want to spend the $50 bucks right now. So with this deal it will be like getting the
Blu-ray version for $30.01.

Just bumping this old thread since there is a deal for LOST on Blu-ray @ Amazon.com.

Thanks, I didn't know about this. If I can get Lost S4 on the cheap, it might be worth it.

Re: $20 rebate when you purchase LOST Season 4 on both DVD & Blu-ray.

I mailed this rebate on Jan 3, 2009 and got it on March 7, 2009 - the fastest rebate I ever received from Disney. I had the SD version of Lost S4 and my co-worker purchased the BD. We split the rebate.

Final cost for Lost S4 after TRU PM- 14.99 (rebate $10 applied)
