This will be slightly tough, I think. Especially for the older systems.

NES: Aside from my SMB/Duck Hunt pack-in, I didn't get anything the first time around. I got mine pretty late (summer '89), which means that I probably got a few as presents in Christmas. My guess? SMB2 and the first TMNT game.

SNES: This one's easier, I think. I got it with SMW and I think my first game was SimCity. I still remember being at swim practice doing laps, thinking about what upgrades I wanted in my city and when I would have enough for a stadium.

Nintendo 64: Embarassingly, Cruisin' USA.

Dreamcast: Ikaruga, I think.

Xbox: Was Halo a pack-in? I think when I bought the Xbox I bought Halo, Oblivion, and one other game.

PS2: I got a PS2 strictly because a roomate was moving out and I didn't want to lose my GTA or THPS3 saves. I think when I bought it, I also bought Twisted Metal Black.

Xbox 360: Call of Duty, PGR3 and Kameo.

DS: A ton of stuff. I had gotten about 20 games within the first six months of the DS. I definitely got Mario Kart and NSMB the first day.

Wii: Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam and fucking Monkeyball. Monkeyball was traded in the next day. I actually camped out in front of the store. I could not get wait to get rid of that wretched game. And I liked the GC one.

PS3: Bought it for a Blu-ray. First game I got was Ratchet & Clank Future. To date, I've still only bought three games for it.

I want to play that so bad. I never got it because I didn't think I'd like it, but after playing Oblivion I wish I would've. Now I think it would seem pretty dated.

Cool idea, but all you N64 people must not have gotten your system at launch since Mario 64 was the only game for a while.

*Atari 400 - Joust
*NES - Super Mario Bros. (duh, it was a pack in)
SNES - Super Mario World, F-Zero
N64 - Mario 64
*Xbox - Halo
Gamecube - Luigi's Mansion, Rogue Squadron II, WaveRace, Super Monkey Ball
Xbox 360 - COD2, PD0, Kameo, Condemned
Wii - Twilight Princess, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Super Monkey Ball
*PS3 - Motorstorm
DS Lite - New Super Mario Bros.

*Only systems not bought on launch day. Well technically I bought a PS3 on launch day but sold it to a friend who wanted it more than I did. Didn't buy my own until a year later.

Jesus Christ I can barely remember what I had for dinner last night.

PS3: I got some with my console (Craigslist): NCAA Football 08, Smackdown vs. Raw 2008, Resistance. First one I bought with my own money was MLB 08: The Show.

X360: First time I think I bought it with Fight Night Round 3 and PGR3. I think. Second time I got it from Craigslist. I got Halo 3, Oblivion GOTY, Gears of War and Bioshock with it. I don't remember what the first game I got for it with my own money was.

PSP: I got like 6 or 7 games on launch, so no luck there.

DS
: Meteos and Advance Wars (first one)

GBA: Castlevania: Circle of the Moon

Dreamcast: Came with Sonic Adventure, I think.

GCN: I got it for Christmas with Luigi's Mansion and a few other games I can't remember.

SNES: Street Fighter II

That's about all I can remember. PS2 and Xbox I got for my birthday and cannot remember what I got with them.
