Worst Picture Quality on Blu - The Woods Have Eyes
This is one of the Echo Bridge budget titles. I have watched probably at least a half dozen of these titles and PQ varies, but is usually pretty good.
Not only is the acting and story horrible, but this is the worst PQ I've seen so far on Blu. I've seen VHS tapes that looked better. Just a word to anyone who was going to buy this - Don't!

Salvage PQ was at least decent. I haven't seen Mortuary yet. I've seen 10.5, The Big White, Category 7, The Colt, Angel in the Family, Final Days on Planet Earth, The Final Patient, The Last Sentinel, The Man Who Saved Christmas and Mysterious Island, so I was expecting decent PQ. All the ones I listed were average to good. Woods Have Eyes was completely blurry the whole way through. The worst PQ I've seen before this was Texas Chain Saw Massacre, but it was a 30 year old low budget film shot on 16mm. This movie is only three years old. I'm glad it wasn't the first Echo Bridge title I've seen, it would have turned me off of the rest.

Cannibal Taboo was shot on low-rent SD video, so I'm pretty sure it'd get the nod as the worst (unless that's how The Woods Have Eyes was shot too...).

There is tons of horror in HD available! I have a very nice Horror BD collection right now - thrilled there have been so many releases. Never thought I'd have Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Texas Chainsaw Massacare, Black Christmas, Nightmare on Elm Street (Canada only), Night of the Living Dead (UK only) already!
