Premise of 'Kings'
In this modern variation on the David-and-Goliath story, David Shepherd, a brave warrior in a city under siege, wins the gratitude of his king by rescuing the prince from enemy territory. His ensuing fame and rise through the ranks earns him the affection of the king's daughter, but David begins to realize it's getting harder and harder to tell his allies from his enemies.

Actually, the one show I'm really, really looking forward to.
OT - MrX, what is the deal with all the avatars looking like communist propaganda posters? Where are they coming from?

I liked the commercial when we saw it in the theater. Always interested in Bible-based stories in contemporary settings. Usually a hit and miss situation.

Really liked it, mostly for Dylan Baker's character and the CrossGen plot. I'm especially excited that
will be playing Cross's son and that
will be playing his father, so that whole family's dynamic should be fantastic. Wasn't super psyched on the king's affair/the romance subplot, but I think it'll be interesting.

Did anyone else have to watch this in fullscreen? They had it zoomed in and I couldn't even read the text at the beginning. It said Kingdom of Gilb. The second line started with auguration. The war scene started with 2 years lat. To make things worse after the commercial break it came back in widescreen for about 2-3 minutes and then changed back to fullscreen.
