Is "From Dusk Til Dawn" bluray Region 1?
I have it preordered from Amazon for this Tuedsday, and it doesn't say it's an import, but I haven't heard anything about it anywhere else & DvdEmpire doesn't list it at all. I noticed Amazon has been listing some imports with the regular preorders, but this one wasn't that expensive. I got burned on Ronin & Run Fat Boy not being all region when they said they were on their site & don't want a similar issue.

This is a good resource for region info:

WRT FDTD, it is Canadian so even if it wasn't region free (which I believe it is), it would still be Region A which is the same as the US. You're good to go on this one.
One more thing on this release - Amazon CA has been selling it for 12.95. With the conversion and postage from Canada it would still be considerably cheaper than buying it through Amazon US. It's not in stock at the moment, but I'm sure it will be again. I've gotten stuff from Amazon CA within 4-5 business days in the past once it shipped.

The funny is that the back of the case does have the Region 1 symbol, no region A or anything else. I guess Alliance is confused about Blu-ray region coding too.

And, incidentally, I'm sooooo glad I didn't pick this up on DVD because it wasn't anamorphic. Much better to get it on BD for $11.69.

I just came here to post the deal on Sin City after finding it on Amazon.ca. Looks like it's already on the radar here (as usual). I came very close to buying it for $29.99 from the US site bcause I've really been looking forward to it.
Got it for $10.58 USD + shipping.

FYI, Amazon.ca says the ship date for this is around January 15th.

If you like Special Features I'd wait on Sin City just a wee bit longer...

I received a email from Amazon.ca a few days ago that FDTD would be available on January 9th. Today I get a shipping confirmation for FDTD and Sin City. Lets see how long this takes to get to HI. Final cost was $30.94 USD.
