Here's my TV Wish List for Santa 2008/2009 based on the TV I watch:

• Make this next season of 24 as good as the first.
• Let Battlestar Galactica end in a blaze of glory.
• Bring back Journeyman.
• Kill off all the Heroes and reboot.
• Stay in The Office more each episode.
• Don't let Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles die on Friday.
• Don't let Friday Night Lights die ever.
• Make The Amazing Race hit more US destinations--but not stupid ones like on the Family edition.
• Don't let Samantha Who? jump the shark by getting too quirky.
• Give us a season of Survivor somewhere freezing cold.
• Give Dirty Sexy Money's finale complete closure.
• Make The Daily Show consistently funny again and not so crass.
• Promise a new Colbert Christmas special every year.
• Give me a compelling reason to not cancel cable.
• Make the Arrested Development movie happen with all the original cast members. Now.

Good idea.

-Make sure Jack Bauer isn't a supporting character in his own show this season.
-Battlestar Galactica ends in epic fashion.
-FNL season 4 pick up.
-Terminaotr season 3 pick up.
-Dollhouse isn't cancelled by fox.
-Bring back Pushing Daises.
-Cancel Heroes. It cannot be saved.
-Michael stops being so mean to Toby on The Office.
-Chuck continues its string of awesomeness.
-The new season of Nip/Tuck is excellent.

--Don't cancel Friday Night Lights
--Make sure ER is really over after this season.
--Don't cancel Friday Night Lights
--Kill off 80% of the Grey's cast.. Most definitely, Izzie
--Don't cancel Friday Night Lights.
--Can we have just one season opener on 24 with Jack lying on some
beach somewhere, so we know that he has some happiness in his life.

-Get some story structure and character development into Heroes.
-Hope Scrubs does well on ABC but don't want them to continue it in some form after this year.
-We get a nice conclusion on Galactica but its not too depressing. Haven't they gone through enough?
-Dollhouse is moved to another night so Terminator can die by itself.
-Dont rumored spin off of Gossip Girl.
-No more remakes of shows like Knight Rider, My Life on Mars or Bionic Woman.
-Gus and Sarah leave together on CSI.
-We get a Journeyman conclusion movie.
-We get some finality to Pushing Daisies.
-Sarah Silverman hosting more Awards shows.
-Less Game and Reality shows.

1. 24's 7th season is kickass and will dominate Monday's at 9pm.
2. Prison Break ends it's season with closure when it returns after it's hiatus.
3. Terminator maintains it's 5-6M viewers when it moves to Friday.
4. Friday Night Lights gets a 4th season even with an entirely new cast
5. Battlestar Galactica's final 10 episodes will be the best ever
6. Chuck continues to make Monday's fun and gets a 3rd season
7. Laurence Fishburne becomes a valuable member of CSI
8. Tim Roth's new show on FOX doesn't suck
9. Lost dominates Wednesday's
10. TV networks realize that dating reality shows don't work and need to stop.

• Have the Amazing Race finally go to Antarctica (even though I know it would be boring)
• Make Michael be meaner to Toby on The Office
• End the House/Cuddy nonsense on House
• Please have them kill off the Izzie character on Grey's Anatomy

That's pretty much it, for now. I don't ask for much.

Amazing Race should broadcast from the islands off British Columbia. Not too cold, plenty of fishing.

Second the Arrested Development movie (we're waiting)
Celebrity Chef Top Chef (make those Food Network weenies prove they can cook and not that they have a talented staff doing it all for them)
Elliot Stabler finally breaks down and grudge rapes Olivia, allowing her to finally kill a rapist and Elliot to finally be the criminal we all know he is.

And I promise to be a good boy if The Pacific is 1/4 as good as Band of Brothers
