Synopsis:

A series of bank robberies are investigated by Olivia, Peter and Dr. Bishop, whose discovery of a personal link to the tech-savvy thieves' ambition ultimately puts one of the trio in grave danger.

If this universe makes any sense (which I don't believe it does), John Noble will be accepting some type of award for the excellent character and performance of Dr. Bishop on this show. Another great episode.

Best episode yet with the plot getting thicker and really exciting. I was hoping there would be a new episode next week, but not until January?

Really? I skipped the previews because I didn't want spoilers for the next episode, but I guess a cliffhanger at this stage is pretty standard. Great episode. Finally got some decent arc going (well we knew the pattern was adding up to SOMETHING, but now we can see it really moving forward). Can't wait until next year!

Yeah, I definitely agree. This was the first episode that felt (to me) like there was no "lag."

This was a good episode. I'm glad I'm sticking with this show.

That pic above needs to be changed. Walter needs to be front and center with Olivia and Peter at his side. Walter is the star of this show.

Fringe has been building a neatly weird main story arc, and it's going to be a long wait until January....

Yeah, and as I mentioned in another forum, they should make Peter and Olivia interact more. That's what helped her a lot in this episode. I don't want them to be involved in a romantic relationship, but there should be more interaction between them.

OB: Walter is great!

Yeah, I like how she went in to the bar with Peter and interracted with the bartender to get the information.
I do not want to see them romantically involved either.

Yes, Walter is always great.

This was the best episode of the series since the pilot. Walter is pure gold but Peter is doing nothing for me. I wonder if they have a real backstory about Peter thought through or if they are going to wing it.

My thoughts exactly.

I like Peter, but I do need to see more from the character. I imagine they have something in mind.

I feel like they are pointing towards Peter being genetically modified or created by Walter in some way. There is definitely something there.

That's the feeling I've had for awhile - my suspicion is he's Walter's clone.

I could be wrong but weren't we also led to believe that the clones had something to do with Massive Dynamics? It was a dream Walter was having at the end of "The Same Old Story" while Peter was singing "Row Row Row Your Boat" to him.

This was easily the best episode of the show to date. Very nice little cliffhanger.

I'm also enjoying the mystery behind Peter and what his father may have done to him when he was young. That could come to blow up in his face later. That and whatever shaddy business he had going on in Boston before.

I hope her boss doesn't take the shaft from MD lady - even though I think she didn't have anything to do with the abduction. Ashame too if that gives her a pass later if MD does kidnap her.

I wonder if the guy in jail is from one of the competing factions. That would add to the mythology and mystery.

Ah yes - the cow scene.

I DVR'd this and hadn't caught an episode until two weeks ago. But with a newborn, my nights are usually spent keeping her asleep, so I've caught up on all the eps and love the show.

Any word on if it's safe for a while or not? I didn't want to google how many eps they have completed to stay away from spoilers, and I know that Fox's track record isn't stellar in developing new shows.

If I'm not mistaken, it's getting a cushy post-American Idol slot for the rest of the 1st season, so it should be safe for a 2nd season. But you never know...
