Who would you like to do a Bond theme?

QoS's theme was pretty good. Much better than that Chris Cornell shit. But I'm really hoping for these people to do a Bond theme.

-TV On The Radio
-Cat Power
-M83
-Daft Punk
-Damen Albarn

It would depend on what kind of theme they'd be going for.

If it can be laid-back, Adele.

If it would be modern rock, Arcade Fire.

TV on the Radio's Bond theme would be awful. And I love TV on the Radio.

Ever since hearing "No Need to Cry" or "I'll Be Around" by Neko Case, I think she would do an amazing job with a Bond song. She wouldn't be too bad as a Bond girl, either.

Interpol would be the bad-ass.

Alphaville covered Diamonds Are Forever so that would very cool if someone would give them a shot at it.

after hearing the new Killers album - they could do a killer ( ) Bond song. A full on gaudy bombastic orchestral track

Why not give the themes a break and go instrumental on one? I'm listening to BT right now and he could do a killer intro.

The Killers
Coldplay

...I also think Paul McCartney should be asked to return. Shirley Bassey got to do three, and only one for Paul?!

As far as instrumentals go, DJ Shadow would blow everyone else out of the water. I'd like to hear what My Morning Jacket could do, they're always so creative. Beck as well.

Plaid did an amazing musical score for 'Tekkenkonreet' - a Bond Theme seems right up their alley.

Boo Boo Davis. A Fine Frenzy. Black Lips. Dropkick Murphys. The Duke Spirit. The Eagles of Death Metal. Kings of Leon.

These names are, of course, a mere few, and are being put forth under the assumption that it may only include bands currently together (i.e. no Zeppelin, Chuck Berry, CCR).

Girl Talk, using samples from all the other Bond themes under some NWA lyrics or something.

I'd like to hear the Killers do one as well.

Of course, I actually liked the last two themes.

Another vote for Daft Punk and I'd add in Air; the breathy sounds would work great with the classic naked silhouette intros.
