Blu-ray sale at sears 11/30-12/6

I apologize if this has already been posted, but I did not see it here, if so please delete it. Sears has Hell boy 2, Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian, Hancock and Wanted on sale for 19.99 in store this week only.

I saw that too when I was rummaging through the ads. Those are low prices especially for day and date titles like Wanted and Narnia. Maybe a price match is in order????

I was just there, looked at the Blu-ray movies, and saw no such indication of any on sale.

Someone on the bluray forums says it was a pricing mistake and Sears will not be honoring it. Doesn't mean you can't try and pricematch elsewhere though, if you have the ad.

The print ad says "Additional titles available," so I just went over to my local Sears to check this out. They had signage next to Hancock and The Departed saying they are $19.99. I couldn't find Hellboy 2. I didn't get either, but I can't imagine they'd have signs with the sale price and then not honor it.

I took the ad to Walmart and got Wanted (blu) for $19.99. I would have gotten Narnia. But, they didn't put it out yet.

Regarding it being a typo. If you go to Sears website the ad is still shown with that pricing. They do show Wanted for $26.99...But, that is the online price.

This is not a price mistake. I was able to pickup Hellboy 2 and Hancock Blu-Rays for $19.99 at a Sears store north of Chicago (Gurnee, IL). I scanned them before I treked to the register and they came up at $19.99 just fine. I plan on returning today for Wanted.

I tried scanning Tropic Thunder and it did not come up on sale so I'm not sure what else is that price point. The store had a very limited selection, maybe 7-8 titles in total.

Confirmed
Hellboy 2
Hancock

Should also be $19.99
Prince Caspian
Wanted
The Departed (based on jhuneycutt's response above)

Not on Sale
Tropic Thunder

I went in to pick up Wanted at about 10:05 today, and they hadn't even received them yet. I grabbed an ad and PM'd it at CC with no problems. Did the same thing with Hancock on Sunday when the ad came out.

My Sears (Colonie NY) had one copy of Hancock, one copy of Hellboy 2 and when I asked them about Prince Caspian, the salesman went in the back and came out with about four or five copies of it on Blu-ray. I grabbed one from him and also the copy of Hancock. They both rang up at 19.99. I didn't see whether he had any copies of Wanted or not.

The Sears in Barton Creek Mall had 2 copies of Wanted, 2 copies of Hancock, a couple of Departed and Prince Caspian, and no Hellboy 2. I took one each of Wanted and Hancock. The cashier was totally clueless but everything rang up at the sale price. Great transaction; took all of 5 minutes. With all of the Black Friday advertising I never even thought to look at Sears for BRDs. Thanks, OP!

I went on my lunch break earlier today. My local Sears had price tags all over the rack with all of the selections, although I didn't see anything not listed here.

The BD titles on sale were on a separate sales rack. They had an aisle dedicated just to BD a few rows over, which shocked me. There was a few titles on sale in that section also.

I grabbed one of the last two copies of Wanted that they had left, and they were out of Hancock. I went to Walmart to pricematch that one. As I was leaving I overheard a few more people asking where the titles on sale were located, so the word is out and people are going out to buy em.

My Sears didn't actually have any of these, but I pricematched Wanted for 19.99 at Best Buy and also for Hancock, which I bought last week so I just got 8.xx back.

Nice!

Pick up one of the 3 copies they had at my local Sears. They also had no copies of Hancock and only 1 of Hellboy 2.

I got the last copy of both Wanted and Prince Caspian. They also had one left of Hancock and two of Hellboy II but I already had those. Didn't see The Departed.

Are you by chance in Austin? I tried the IH-35 and Parmer location, but they didn't have any.

I just got back from Best Buy and they Price matched Chronicle of Narnia and Wanted.
I was also able to use the $10 upgrade coupon and a $3 coupon on Chronicles bringing the total to $8.21 for it!

I have 6 more of the $10 coupons and 5 of the $3 coupons if anyone is interested.

The $3 coupon is actually for the 1st Chronicles which I didn't realize until just now, but neither me or the cashier noticed it I guess at the store.
Here is a photo of my receipt.

Went to price match at Walmart and they would not take the coupon on the price match. They said it was only valid on full price movies.
I am going to be returning my copy and buying somewhere else.

Went back to return mine to Walmart after picking it up at Sears for $10.00. They took the coupon no problem. They did not have any of the others that were on sale on the floor. I got the last Narnia. Will go back today if I have time and see if I can get Wanted.

I price matched HellBoy, Wanted and Prince Caspian at my local BestBuy since Sears had none of them in stock. I wanted to price match Hancock also but Bestbuy was out too. Will pricematch elsewhere for that.
