they used the same vague/misleading wording for the IM packaging and all it included was the standard bonus features that were on all other pressings of the disc

The Blu-Ray Batpod is not exclusive to Target. Every store should have it available. I know that Best Buy and Circuit City also have it. I also don't believe you'll get the Batman Mask if you go with the Blu-Ray Batpod release, as it won't have both the Batpod and the Batman Mask inside the box. I believe the wording is wrong.

Just in case you wanted to use it for a better picture, it looks like HMV Canada will get the mask like we did for Iron Man, but we'll get the BluRay version also:

FYI - the material of the Target mask packaging is the is supposed to mimic the material used for Batman's suit. Kind of a hard rubbery material. Very, very cool!

Does anyone know if the Batman mask will stand up on its own like the IronMan exclusive? I was looking at the Transformers mask at Sam's club the other day which doesnt look like it would stand up on a shelf. I won't get it if that's the case.

I hope the case is sturdy. The case for Transformers was nice and solid, but the plastic cases for Incredible Hulk and Iron were incredibly clunky.

I'm pretty sure by "movie-only", they mean sans-trinkets. It will still have the same special features and whatnot that would be found on the other blu-rays, you just don't get the mask or toy. This doesn't include the other "bonus features" and digital copy that are on the $29.99 one, obviously.

I was looking at the Indiana Jones one in the store. The problem with them is the cardboard sleeve has a green christmas style border to them. I think the cover art on the dvd case itself may also have this border.

This may be a YMMV situation, but I visited my local Target (Austell, GA) to pick up South Park Season 11 and noticed that the Peanuts Deluxe Holiday Collection was included in the $12.99 Holiday DVDs that are on sale this week (oddly enough, right beside the single Charlie Brown Christmas DVD, also on sale for $12.99). The box set was clearly marked "As Advertised: $12.99" on the display. Needless to say, I snagged a copy!

I went to Target today and seen the spot where The Peanuts Collection was supposed to be and their was a tag that said 12.99.So I went to another Target and they had the same 12.99 tag up but were sold out.Also Grease was in the $10 DVD sale and they were all the pink ladies jacket.They had 6 or 7 at each Target.

Had the wife check the Target near us for the Peanuts set. It was priced at 12.99, but they were sold out. She had them check the store in the town I work and they had some, and I was able to get the last copy they had for 12.99. Great deal considering the best price I previously have seen it was for $28+ at Sam's Club.

I did the same thing today...this morning I stop by the Target near my house and they had the sign, but sold out for $12.99. I drove to another Target later this evening and figure I check it out. They didn't have a sign and there was only "one" sitting on the shelf. I took it to the scanner for price check and it scanned for $12.99...wow, what a deal. :banana:
