These weekly threads are for price comparisons of all the big new releases, and the posting and discussion of that particular week's store exclusives and freebies.

These lists will likely be incomplete until Wednesday or so, since DVDs are released on Tuesday and one of us needs to visit all the stores to confirm things.

Links to the master list and to the previous and next week's thread are below.

Volunteers needed: I regularly go to Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, and Walmart; but don't visit the other stores every week. If you work at or regularly go to the FYE/TWEC chains, Costco, Borders, K-mart/Sears, Barnes and Noble, Blockbuster, Hot Topic, or any other store that has DVD exclusives; we'd appreciate any updates you could give us.

All Stores - Thread for all movie cash and free ticket deals
tons of free movie deals at various retailers, see the above linked thread for full details

Best Buy -

The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian - $5 off selected Disney holiday titles

Hey Trevor, why do those charts? I don't mean to offend when I say they're ugly & I just skip 'em.

Sweet! A few more "no" votes and I can reclaim all that time I spend on them.

Best Buy does have the Collector's Edition of the Wanted Blu-Ray for $49.99, and the lithograph offer apply to this set as well.

Canada's Future Shop is offering Wanted - Exclusive Steelbook Edition
wondering if any US retailer have it (fye?)

I personally find it quite useful, answers multiple questions I have weekly all at once. I don't really give a fuck how it looks. Thanks for the effort, much appreciated.

I actually spent a lot of time formatting it to make it look better than just a bare table. Do the bolding and colors help? Or would it look better plain?

They're useful. If they included pictures of hot women in bikinis modelling the DVDs, they'd be perfect.

They're there. I have it formatted to show Victoria Secret models to all straight guys.

Are you sure you want to see them?

The above post is obviously a joke, and not meant to bash one of my favorite forum members, super models, straight people, non-straight people, penguins, or html programmers.

FWIW, I really like the charts (much better than the lists) and appreciate the work that went into them. Keep it up, if it's not too much trouble.

I think the tables are great, but the colors and formatting don't add much (IMO). If they're a lot of extra work I say skip 'em. Better off to get the content rather than risk burning you out on the whole thing.

And thanks for the work!

Forgive me if i'm repeating myself but you do a great job all around Trevor and the charts are very useful and help out alot.

Great Job all around, Trevor.

Also, Best buy is giving away a Ricky Bobby Bobblehead with a Purchase of Talladega Nights

And I Think I remember hearing FYE is going to have a Steelbook for the X-Files release. I'll be swinging by tomorrow to confirm it.

I think the charts are great. They make it much easier and quicker to get the info I'm looking for.

Charting

Please keep the comparison table alive! It's extremely useful for at-a-glance information. Thanks for taking the initiative to make a helpful thread even better. Cheers!

Believe it or not, the cheapest place to find the Wanted Blu-Ray this week is at Sears. They have the BD for $19.99, according to their weekly ad.

Ok, I can confirm an X-Files Steelbook at F.Y.E.

Also the Ricky bobby Bobblehead is part of a new gift set for talladega nights dvd, which is a best buy exclusive. It's pretty nice.

I checked the Publix ad oddly enough and saw Prince Capsian 1D/3D DVD on sale for 13.99 and 19.99. Cheapest on the chart.

Actually, all the creation and formatting work is over (unless I change it again). I now have a blank template, and just need to fill in the boxes each week. It takes maybe an hour a week to research all the web sites and fill in the blanks. Then of course I tweak it as new information comes in from you all.
